Lebda Medical Journal – Free to Publish, Open Access

We welcome submissions from researchers, clinicians, and scholars in the fields of clinical medicine, pharmacy, public health, and allied health sciences. Lebda Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Elmergib University, Libya. We are proud to offer free publication with no article processing charges (APCs).

Publication Schedule

  • The journal is published biannually, with issues released in April and October.
  • Submission windows:
    • For the April issue, submissions open in January.
    • For the October issue, submissions open in July.

Author Guidelines

  1. Scope of Submission

 Manuscripts must fall within the journal’s scope: clinical medicine, pharmacy, public health, and allied health sciences.

  1. Language Requirement

 All submissions must be written in English.

  1. Plagiarism Policy

 Submitted manuscripts must contain no more than 30% similarity as determined by plagiarism detection software. Higher similarity scores will result in rejection or revision requests.

  1. Open Access and Fees
    • The journal is fully open access: all articles are freely available online upon publication.
    • There are no submission or publication fees.
  2. Licensing and Copyright
    • All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
    • This license allows others to share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.
  3. Manuscript Format
    • Include a structured abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.
    • Use Vancouver style for citations.
    • Tables and figures must be clearly labeled and referenced in the text.
  4. Peer Review Process

 All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Authors will receive feedback and decisions within a reasonable timeframe.

  1. Ethical Considerations

 Research involving human or animal subjects must include appropriate ethical approval and informed consent statements.
